Admissions

The Saints Academy welcomes applications from families seeking a faith-filled, academically rigorous, and nurturing educational environment. Admission is based on a review of the student's academic, social, emotional, and developmental readiness, as well as available space within the requested grade level.

Age Requirements

Students must meet the following age requirements by September 1 of the school year for which they are applying:

• Pre-Kindergarten: 4 years old by September 1
• Kindergarten: 5 years old by September 1
• First Grade: 6 years old by September 1

Proof of age is required through submission of an official birth certificate.

Admissions Priority

When qualified applicants exceed available openings, admission priority is given in the following order:

1. Siblings of currently enrolled students
2. Children of alumni
3. Active parish members

Admission priority does not guarantee acceptance and is subject to the completion of all application requirements and space availability.

Application Requirements

The following items are required as part of the admissions process:

• Completed application and payment of the application fee
• Birth certificate
• Baptismal certificate (if applicable)
• Most recent report card (for applicants entering First Grade and above)
• Educational and psychological testing reports (if applicable)
• Current 504 Plan or Individualized Education Program (IEP), if applicable
• Teacher referral
  • Applicants to Grades 6–8 must provide referrals from both their Math and Reading/English teachers
• Tour of The Saints Academy

Additional steps may be required as part of the admissions review process, including but not limited to:

• Student shadow day- including educational assessment
• Submission of work samples
• Student assessment
• Meeting with a classroom teacher, support staff member, administrator, or other school personnel

Failure to provide requested documentation may delay or prevent completion of the admissions review.

Admissions Process

The admissions process is designed to provide families with the opportunity to learn about The Saints Academy while allowing the school to determine whether the student is an appropriate fit for the academic and community expectations of the school.

Step 1: Submit an Application

Families complete the online application and submit all required documentation, including payment of the application fee.

Step 2: Attend a Tour or Open House

Families are encouraged to visit the school through a scheduled tour or Open House event to learn more about our programs, mission, and community.

Step 3: Application Review

Once an application has been received and reviewed, qualified applicants may be invited to continue in the admissions process.

Step 4: Shadow Day

Students invited to move forward will participate in a shadow day. During this visit, students spend time with their prospective classmates and teachers while school staff observe classroom readiness, academic skills, and social interaction.

Step 5: Additional Review (If Needed)

The Admissions Office may request additional information, including educational records, testing results, work samples, assessments, or meetings with teachers and administrators.

Step 6: Admissions Decision

Families will receive notification regarding admission decisions after the review process is complete.

Admissions Timeline

The Saints Academy follows a multi-round admissions process each year.

Application Period

Applications typically open in the fall for the following school year.

Priority Admissions Round

Families are encouraged to submit applications during the initial priority application period. Applications received during this period receive first consideration for available openings.

Subsequent Admissions Rounds

Additional admissions rounds follow the priority application period. Applicants may continue to apply and be considered for available openings throughout the admissions season.

Rolling Admissions

After the scheduled admissions rounds conclude, applications are accepted on a rolling basis as space remains available.

Current Family Re-Enrollment

Current families are provided an annual re-enrollment period before new student enrollment is finalized.

Waitlist Policy

Students who are accepted to a grade level that has already reached capacity will be placed on a waitlist for the school year for which they applied.

Families will be notified if an opening becomes available. Students remain on the waitlist only for the school year to which they applied.

Families who wish to be considered for admission in a future school year may request that their application be advanced and reviewed alongside other applicants during the next admissions cycle.

Acceptance to The Saints Academy depends upon the following:

Pre K students must be four years of age by September 1.
Kindergarten students must be five years of age by September 1.
Grade 1 students must be six years of age by September 1.

An Academic Recommendation Form will be forwarded upon receipt of the application for completion by a current teacher.

Once the application has been processed, notification of acceptance or wait list status will be forwarded based on the Admissions Timeline below.  Placement in the class will be offered based on the following priority basis:  siblings at The Saints Academy, family registered in The Beverly Collaborative or children of alumni.
